Gord Bell Memorial Scholarship Program
GLRL is pleased to announce the continuation of the Gord Bell Memorial Award Program previously offered by CORL. The awards are open to all active players in GLRL heading to a post secondary institution, and will be awarded yearly to the two (2) players that best exemplify a passion for the game of Ringette. Gord Bell is a member of the Ringette Hall of Fame and was the President of CORL from 1985 until early 2005 when he passed away.
The following documents must be included with your application:
1. A 300 word maximum written document outlining the significance of participation in Ringette to your personal development
2. One letter of reference from people in the Ringette community. (coaches, executive members, officials etc.)
3. Detailed Ringette resume (single page) covering all aspects of your Ringette activity
Application FORM and all documentation should be submitted to your Associations’ GLRL representative no later than April 30, 2020 for consideration by GLRL. Voting will take place at end of year AGM.
