Gord Bell Memorial Scholarship Winners 2021-2022

The Great Lakes Ringette League is happy to announce the Recipients of the Gord Bell Scholarship Award for the 2021/22 season. Congratulations to the following two players:

Lauren Nagy - Whitby Ringette Association
Lauren has demonstrated a true commitment to Ringette, as player, coach and official and took the initiative to create the “She’s a Keeper” goalie clinic program to help develop young goalies.  She will be attending the Applied Human Nutrition program at University of Guelph in September.

Hannah McLean - Kitchener Ringette Association
Hannah has excelled in many facets of Ringette, as a player, official and volunteer.  She has great respect and gratitude for all those that made it possible for her to play Ringette for over 14 years and counting.  She will be attending the Kinesiology program at Western University this fall.

GLRL received seven applications this season. We would like to thank all applicants for their vital contributions to our sport and best of luck in their future success.
